IHM-48-KHA - 12oz Whipcord Lightweight N1 Deck Jacket - Khaki
Inspired by the classic US Navy deck jackets of the 1940s, the reinterpretation of the N1 has become a hallmark of Iron Heart. For Fall/Winter 2025, a new, lightweight model is being added to the collection. The thick wool insulation and quilted sleeves have been replaced with a significantly lighter, weather-resistant lining made of Japanese Ventile cotton to make the jacket lighter and improve breathability. This model is crafted from durable 12oz whipcord, but the yarns of this special "jungle fabric" are sulfur-dyed. Unlike the lightfast, reactive-dyed whipcord of our traditional N1, this fabric will fade with wear and washing, developing a vintage-style patina over time.

- Sulphur dyed warp and weft - will fade with wear and washing
- Water-resistant 6.2oz Japanese Ventile cotton lining
- Tonal stitching
- Two-way YKK zipper (lighterweight than standard N1)
- 14 wale corduroy lined collar, cuffs and pockets - 85% cotton / 15% poly
- D-stitch pockets with snap fastenings
- Snap fastening interior “gun” pocket
- Buttoned cinches at hem and cuffs
- Paracord drawstring at hem fitted as standard
- Poly/cotton constructional stitching
- One washed - little to no shrinkage expected
